KELLER

KELLER UK is a fully owned subsidiary of the Swiss company KELLER Druckmesstechnik AG, also known as KELLER Pressure. This Dorchester-based branch serves as the primary contact for UK and Ireland customers, providing all technical support and sales in these regions. Founded in 1990, KELLER UK relocated its operations to Dorset in 2000. Post-Brexit, KELLER UK has taken on the responsibility of direct imports from Switzerland and the distribution of KELLER products within the UK, all coordinated from the Dorchester office.

As a market leader, KELLER Pressure specialises in manufacturing isolated pressure transducers and transmitters, commonly referred to as pressure sensors. These sensors are utilised in diverse settings, including the International Space Station, high-performance racing vehicles, renewable energy infrastructures, household coffee machines, and commercial aircraft.

The company’s inception in 1974 by Hannes W. Keller, the pioneer behind the integrated silicon measuring cell, set the foundation for its current leadership by his sons, Tobias and Michael Keller. With a workforce of approximately 500 globally, KELLER remains family-owned and is distinguished by its Swiss roots, emphasising quality, functionality, and reliability. Production is concentrated at the Swiss headquarters, where the team manufactures 1.5 million pressure sensors yearly, all bearing the ‘Made in Switzerland’ mark of quality.

Since 1993, the seagull has been KELLER’s emblem, representing innovation, philosophical freedom, and a quest for wisdom and truth. The KELLER Vision is built on four pillars: Independence, Development, Opportunities, and Wisdom.

KELLER’s commitment to advancing pressure measurement technology is evident in its collaborative efforts with clients at local, national, and international levels. Dorset’s environment is in harmony with the KELLER Vision, offering:

  1. A serene escape from city life, embodying KELLER’s value of Independence.
  2. While renowned for tourism, Dorset also fosters sectors like advanced engineering, environmental tech, and financial services, aligning with KELLER’s focus on Development and Opportunities.
  3. A pioneer in remote working, KELLER champions the flexibility to work from anywhere with good internet connectivity, reflecting the company’s Wisdom philosophy. Relocating the company to Dorset advocates for a harmonious work-life balance.
  4. And, seagulls like to be by the sea.
