The 3D sonar system offers instantaneous high-resolution imaging, empowering autonomous vehicles with unprecedented navigation and obstacle avoidance capabilities. When integrated with AI, real-time 3D sonar enhances robotic platforms, enabling the development of sophisticated ‘Smart Vehicles’ capable of autonomously conducting routine inspections, thereby safeguarding infrastructure. Deployed in Dorset, the base station buoy platform illustrates the practicality of this technology.
