BOFA

BOFA stands as a distinguished leader in portable fume extraction and filtration technology, boasting multiple awards and global recognition. Originating in 1987 through the vision of Dave Cornell, who pioneered a Swedish filtration system to safeguard PCB assembly line operators from harmful colophony fumes, the company has since evolved to design, develop, and manufacture cutting-edge systems catering to various industrial sectors such as laser technology, 3D printing, electronics, and printing.

BOFA’s commitment to excellence has garnered notable accolades, including two Queen’s Awards for Enterprise – one in 2012 for International Trade and another in 2017 for Innovation. Additionally, in 2018, the company clinched the Mid-Market Company of the Year award and secured a spot in The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200, a prestigious ranking of Britain’s mid-market private firms with exceptional growth in international sales. Notably, BOFA is among only 11 such companies headquartered in the South West of England.

In 2018, BOFA underwent a significant milestone with its acquisition by Donaldson Company, Inc., a renowned global leader in the filtration industry, boasting a century-long legacy of innovation and excellence with sales, manufacturing, and distribution hubs worldwide.

Expanding its commitment to excellence, BOFA launched the BOFA Academy in 2020. This initiative offers comprehensive training programs covering a diverse array of topics, ranging from commercial understanding to installation procedures, technical training, and servicing protocols, further solidifying BOFA’s position as a pioneer and educator in its field.
