Manor Renewable Energy
Manor Renewable Energy (MRE) – part of the OEG Group – was established in 2013 and has garnered recognition for its prowess in delivering temporary power and engineering solutions offshore.
Following the acquisition of the Manor Marine shipyard in 2017, MRE established its headquarters in Portland, Dorset, expanding its capabilities to offer end-to-end engineering solutions, from design to fabrication. This strategic move has bolstered MRE’s position within the offshore wind sector, further propelled by the launch of their flagship vessel, the Manor Venture, constructed at the shipyard.
In its pursuit of industry leadership, MRE has collaborated with numerous OEMs, wind farm developers, and operators across 45 projects worldwide. The recent acquisition of OPUS Marine has expanded MRE’s fleet to sixteen specialised offshore support vessels across the UK, Europe, and Taiwan, with plans for further expansion underway.
